Great place to stay & relax
Stayed here for 4 days in July 2017. The Villa has an excellent team and a wonderful chef (Pushpa) Location is 5 mins walking from Seminyak Square. Overall had a wonderful time here and would definitely come back!

Ideal choice for large groups wanting a next-level luxury experience!
Casa Mateo NEEDS to be experienced at least once in your life! This stunning villa and wonderful staff truly gave our few nights with them the feeling of being at the centre of the universe. First off, the place is simply huge. From the superb-looking prayer area when you walk in, the long manicured lawns, 2 separate pools (!), the 10m high vine covered walls and the 3-storey main building, you could get lost in here for days! Everyone in our group had their own favourite spots, and all were over the moon with our different rooms. I personally loved my gf and my room as we had the grand private projector cinema next to ours! Plus, we had a rooftop garden area so we could do some exercise without all of our friends looking on! There is plenty of space on the bottom lawn for the kids to run around, and there is even a sauna (complete with plunge bath) for relaxing if you wanted. Next up, the FOOD. This was the best food we have eaten in Bali, bar none. We ventured out to the main Seminyak area a couple of times to eat but would always look at each other post-meal and wish that we just stayed in! The staff and lovely manager Elly were always around for us to ask questions on what to do and where to go as well. Top-notch. I definitely think the grand scale of the place is hard to capture through photos alone. Next time we book, we will invite double the amount of friends to come and enjoy! All in all, this was an amazing holiday experience. Thank you team Casa Mateo!

The staff were what made this Villa exceed all of our expectations. There was such care and attention to detail, and we were immediately made to feel at home. Anton would come back all the way to the Villa past work hours to help us out with things that were outside of his scope. He even personally came and sent us off to the airport. The rooms were so clean, food was devine, and the location was superb, just a short walk away from heaps of food. Thank you Casa Mateo family! Hope to see you all again one day. Selalu Sehat !

Amazing, Spacious & Clean Villa
Pick up at the airport was a breeze and we were greeted with cold wet face towel and a bottle of drink each! Upon arrival at the villa, the villa manger gave us a tour of the villa and introduced us to all the staff! We stayed in the villa for all our meals as the chef and cook was pretty awesome in whipping up yummy food (indo food, italian food, burgers, balinese food, BBQ). Villa was very spacious for the 16 of us (12 adults, 3 kids and 1 infant). There are 2 pools in the villa and there was even enough space for us to play footy. An easy 5 min walk to the nearby mini supermarket and also to the main Seminyak shopping and restaurant street. We also had in-villa massage as there is a massage room near the kids pool... with a total of 4 massage beds!!!

Great experience from start to finish
We have just celebrated my husbands 40th Birthday at Casa Mateo and had a wonderful experience. The set up of the Birthday Dinner was superb, the bbq food was amazing and they even went the extra mile to decorate with the Jungle theme. If you are travelling with a group, this Villa and the team of amazing staff are the best! We recommend this Villa and will visit again!

Outstanding villa with amazing staff! On our first trip to Bali with a 10 month old and a 3.5 year old and we opted for a villa as my brother also came with us.. we took the 3 bedroom option and were liked the idea of a baby pool and a yard.

Great place for big group
If one word could simply describe everything about this villa, it is PERFECT. I was travelling with the big family (10 adults and 2 children) and has been doing a lot of research before finally deciding to book with Casa Mateo. The staff were amazing, the pools yes pools were incredible and the general vibe incredible. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to live the life of a queen. The location is great and very quiet which I found surprising. Nothings is far away when walking. Truly a wonderful place.

The best Villa with the best location
Everything from the location and the staff was superb, Highly recommended. They have 2 pools - adult pool which was very large, shaded and deep. They also have kiddie pool which was great for my 2 years old.

Paradise!!!
I didn't want to leave! My partner and I joined our friends for two nights at the end of our trip, who were staying at Casa Mateo. It was the perfect end to the trip, although I had instant holiday blues upon our departure. We were welcomed with open arms by the staff who did absolutely everything to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. They prepared our rooms before bedtime, cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning and arranged in-villa massages throughout the day. I can't fault them! Definitely recommend! We are hoping to return in future with a group of friends :)

This villa was better than we expected
Firstly everything you see in the pictures is exact same and more. This villa was better than we expected, all rooms were big and all the outside areas were huge. Two pools and a massive lawn. The service was amazing everything was cleaned while we were making it messy. Villa employees were amazing and fulfilled all our needs. Food was great aswell. Overall was a great experience and was very happy with everything will definitely be returning in the future.

Still awesome 6 years after our first stay
We stayed at Casa Mateo 6 years ago, and then again last month. The villa location is amazing - so easy to walk to restaurants, good coffee spots, bars and day spas. Plus, a $2-3 taxi will get you where you need to be if you can't be bothered walking. The staff at Casa Mateo are second to none. They are attentive, helpful, and keep the villa looking immaculate very quietly. Highly recommend dining in a few times as the food is amazing. We had the Asian BBQ and a few breakfasts. If you're in a group there are a few different areas for people to recharge so if you need some time to yourself, but not hidden in your room, Casa Mateo is a great choice. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are luxurious.

Luxury pure
Luxury pure!!! If you want to stay out of the busy Kuta this Villa is a good and quiet place to relax. You will feel like a King here. Nice Design, good poolsize and the Manager will do all to let you feel good. I deeply reccomand this. They have different Villas with different size and price
